Try the restroom at Long John Silvers. It is a good, quiet, public place, with fish, near Kansas City. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Get out there and find your own honey hole. When you do find your own favorite spot, are you going to tell alot of people on Y answers about it? I'm guessing not. If you need ideas, check the department of natural resources website or call and ask the DNR. Try asking at your local bait shop after making a purchase. They may tell you a good spot in order to keep you coming back and buying more bait. Just don't expect people to tell you about the best places because they will obviously want to keep them secret. Nothing is stopping you from getting out there and discovering these secrets on your own though. Get my drift? People may tell you some spots, but they won't be the best spots.
