Is fishing legal in Honolulu?

Is using Clorox bleach bottles as flotation devises for fishing legal or illegal?

  • My dad wants me to gather up Clorox bleach bottles and let him use them to float lines for fishing and i don't know if its legal or not....

    you really could go the simple, foolproof route and check your state's fishing regulations. THAT will be your source. the regs can be found in ANY tackle shop or sporting goods department in stores like wal-mart, etc. or on line.

hard to provide sources if u won't even bother to post what state ur in....50 states= 50 different laws.... but in general they are legal in the states that allow jug floats and illegal in the ones that don't..... ** there are some states that restrict chemical bottles form being used......since most ppl won't/can't clean bottles thoroughly enough and this allows chemicals into the water....so in these states even tho jugs are legal chemical jugs are not.....

From my experience, illegal. My cousin is a wildlife/parks ranger and he said they won't fine you the first time but they will make you take them out of the water. So no you are not allowed to do so.

what state do you live in? it may be legal to some extent wich means you might have to buy jugs from fish and game
