hey man i guess you are talkin about houston texas. if you wanna drive a little while well maybe a little bit more than a little drive but it will be worth the drive and if you wanna camping get away go t del rio texas and fish lake amistad. that is a great great lake and there are all types of fish there. bass turnaments are held there. i really dont think that the word great actually describes that lake. will be a trip and fishing experience that you will never forget. man i hope that helps you out a bit. google the lake and you will see what i am talkin about. you can also look up delrio. small quiant town great mexican food. quiet and relaxing. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the eperience
