Answer:
I agree with Miss May. Boating is like standing in a cold shower tearing up hundred dollar bills. Plus taking on a lot of people is taking on a lot of responsibility! You need life jackets for everyone and you must make sure they wear them. Being on a small boat is not a place to worry about your suntan. There's nothing wrong with Bayliner.

Boat---- Bust Out Another Thousand. if your really as cheap as you say you are, you don't want a boat they are just big holes in the water you through money at. just like cars they require regular maintenance that most people are not equipped to do them selves and if you don't know what your looking for you can get a piece of junk that will suck you dry!

Ryan, boating can be expensive but it can be done regardless of what has been stated. On top of the cost of the vessel and getting it to the water you are going to have the cost of fuel which could be your biggest out of pocket expense. While fuel prices are falling they are not falling as fast on the water as they are on the road. You will also have the cost of insuring the vessel as well as whatever you decide to take out with you to eat or drink whenever you leave for the day. Yes, you have maintenance costs too. Engine(s) have to be tuned. Batteries will have to be bought. Engine(s) must be winterized if your climate warrants it. Cleaning and waxing supplies have to be purchased. And the list goes on and on and on. But, the reward of owning a boat can be tremendous or horrendous. You either love it or end up hating it. "Cheap" is not a word that can be associated with boating for it will require money to enjoy. Recommend that you give this alot of thought before getting into it. If you can take care the engines mechancially, change the oil annually & winterize the systems (not difficult) you can cut back on your costs tremendouslly. But if you don't care to do these things then find something else. You can't sell a boat with a dead engine due to neglect without taking a major hit in the financial wallet. Good luck.
