How to get from Schoenefeld Berlin airport to main centre of Berlin including best Christmas markets?

The easiest way - which is not the cheapest - is a taxi. This will take you straight to your hotel, and will cost from €25 - €30. There is also an Airport Express train operated by Deutsche Bahn. Trains leave every 30 minutes from Berlin Schönefeld Flughafen Station, which is a six minute walk from the terminal. This currently costs €3.10 single. Unlike most cities Belin has a number of Christmas markets - as many a 60 spread around the city. When we went we bought a tour bus ticket that allowed us to get off and on and visited them all. We liked the Gluhwein market in front of the cathedral, but the market near Checkpoint Charlie had the best food.
