How to make a dvd picture slideshow?

You can use Windows Movie Maker.

In response to Gabrielle's reply, you still might be able to watch the slideshow even if it was burned on a cd instead of a dvd. That's what I did with Nero software and it worked fine on three different dvd players. I think I will try the Windows Movie Maker for my daughter's 1st year slideshow.

Ive made many of these and I was very pleased with the results. I used Windows Movie Maker- but you have to be careful because i had to put them on a blank cd to play them into the computer because I didnt realize it wouldnt copy it onto a dvd. It said I needed a different program to do that. But they are relatively easy to figure out- but they take a long time if you want to add all the special effects and things like that.. But like I said- I would make sure the program works with copying your slideshow to a dvd instead of doing what I did and waste your time on the whole thing. I could still copy them onto a regular cd- but not a dvd so I had to watch it on the computer not my tv.. Good luck-

Try Windows Movie Maker it's suuupper easy it has a help button so if you get confused u can always refer back to that If you have a windows computer im sure you'll have windows movie maker you don't have to buy it because it comes with the computer

Unless you are going to be doing this on a regular basis, I suggest you just let a professional outside source do it for you. Much easier and results will be terrific.
