I have to agree with the one above. As a photographer, YOU must learn how to combine everything to create an excellent image. "Everything" means shutter speed, aperture, reciprocity, then composition, cotrast, rule of thirds, depth of field, color, texture, line, emphasis, lighting, and so on. Once you understand all of this, and add a good eye for photography, then your images will look better. To achieve this, a good way would be to go to shcool, but picking up a book and experimenting can also work. The key is to practice to become proficient.
