Hi Sugar. it souldn't matter to your monitor what system you use, but It sounds like you have a bug in there somewhere, it may also be that your monitor is on its way out, someone will be along soon with a more direct answer for you.

You might have the resolution or refresh rate set too high. So you have to change that you can do that on your display settings. You can find that in your control panel look for display icon go to settings and look for advanced below go to monitor set it for 60hertz and you can also changed try screen resolution in the settings features as well try 1024x768 by default and see if it does the same thing. if it still does that then you monitor is going bad. hope that helps.
