A good camcorder to make a movie?

  If you want to shoot a 90 minute movie, I think you would have too much trouble with the video camcorder you have the link too. It is a hard drive camcorder, so your shooting time is limited to the max time on the hard drive, if the scene is not done yet, are you going to set up the scene the next day to finish the scene and can you maintain continuity? To do this better, get a Canon ZR 930, it has better video Quality than the camera you want, costs about the same, brand new, not refurbished. You would need to spend in excess of $3500 to get a a HD camcorder with better video quality than this camcorder You are going to, by video standards, shoot 15 hours of video to make that 90 minute movie.. That Hard drive camcorder cannot hold that much, 10 MiniDV tapes can. Switch out times, about 2 to 5 minutes to get one tape out and a new tape in. Have fun making your movie. Make use of the Mic jack. Visit my page for some ideas on equipment. My digital recorder will record for 9 hours straight, you may not need that long recording times. The mixer, yes some form of one of those is needed. Visit your local Music store, the one that sells Drum Kits and Guitars and such. They are audio experts and can help you.
