  most community colleges now have basic photography and graphic design classes, and many community colleges will let high school students register for classes, so you might look to see if a community college in your area has classes available at a time you could attend. You might also check to see if they have web-based courses. Also, you might check to see if there are any community/continuing education initiatives in your area (for example, adult/after school classes in various subjects sponsored by the local school district or universities) because they often have basic courses specializing in various hobbies or computer applications. Adobe has a database of authorized training centers on their website, as well as online training for a fee. (see http://www.adobe.com/training/ ) If you have no experience at all, and you're on a budget, you might look at Adobe's Classroom in a Book series. It walks you through a series of exercises designed to get you familiar with the interface and working with the tools on a basic level. It's a good place to start. You might also check to see if your high school or a local camera shop has photography or photojournalism classes, which can get familiarize you with the basics of cameras and photography.
