There are several methods to connect, but I can explain how mine is hooked up. The s-video (round with 7 holes) jack on the laptop is connected to the rca type video input on the TV. You will need an adapter to convert the s-video cable to a male rca-type plug. On the side of the laptop is a headphone jack. That is connected to the audio input of the TV. Again, you will need the headphone plug cable and an adapter to plug into the rca type TV audio.
