How do we clear up cloudy inground pool water?

We are replacing our inground pool liner ourself and the btm of the pool is dirt and leaks water. Can we seal?

  have you tried digging a small trench around your pool? You could dig it in a way that directs water away and down a slope if possible. You could make it attractive by filling the small trench with river pebbles. Maybe if water could go around your pool it wouldn't try to come up from underneath. I hope you get some great ideas from this website's users! I could only imagine how much someone might charge you professionally, it might cost more than your pool.
