Does yahoo group calender sent out notification to group members as soon as the event is add to the calender?

Answer:
My calendar event announcements are sent out the soonest one day after posting. I usually program reminders 1 and 4 days before the event. They are sent out at the hour programmed for the event, 4 and 1 day before the event. If I miss the deadline (one day before), the announcement does not go out.
