Can my amplifier remote wire connect to power antenna wire?

  • Answer:

The turn-on lead wire on the back of your stereo should more than likely be blue. That should turn the amp on and off with your stereo. Also, I would run the turn-on lead wire on the same side as the power cable. You really don't want to run power lines along side of audio signal lines. As for the toggle switch, you could install one on the turn-on lead wire, if the lead wire needs to be connected to a constant power source. You just have to remember to turn it off or get a switch with a built in light.
