What is the life of a Nurse in Military Nursing Service or MNS in India?

As the son of a former MNS officer,  I am qualified to answer this question. If you're a nursing professional in India, there probably isn't a better career than than the MNS.  The work hours are long and often brutal, more so if you're posted at a hospital in a remote region.  However,  the salary is excellent,  the perks more than satisfactory and the social standing excellent. After all, you're an officer in the armed forces.

I am replying this question with a great responsibility. My wife was a former MNS officer. Yes it is true that they get all the services at par like other officers.Other then Respect, when I say respect it means - Salutation, Not treated at par with other officers, Uniform is different from other army officers, Conform zone is not at par with other lady Army officer, at time you in allowances also they are not treated at par with other Army officer. where as it is not the case in other MNS crops in other countries.  My recommendation is not to Join India Military Nursing Services Cropes, till the time they are not treated at par with other officers .
