How do I make a textbox transparent?

How can I make my textbox appear when i want to reply to one of my emails? Mine wont appear!?

• When I click on reply no textbox appears!

  Must be something wrong with the new mail system.It should come up,but if not for now till it doe's start working,just click compose and put address in and write message.Not much different.Try to forward it ,click forward with or without attachment,then click on insert address.pick one you want to reply to if in your address book.If not in address book might as well do the first one compose.Everyone seem's to be have'ing trouble with new mail system.That's why i have'nt change yet,when they come out with new upgrade's,don't do it till you see or hear there working okay.Just come to Q&A and read some question's and you'll see what is good and bad. Good luck with new mail if that is what you have.
