How do I find the number to a lost U.S. passport?

How can I find my passport number and the date issued if I lost it? ANY WEBSITE IS THERE?

  • Answer:

If you LOST a VALID PASSPORT then you have more problems than finding a web site. There is ONE CARDINAL RULE and that is you NEVER LOSE A PASSPORT... when the government issues a passport they assume you are ADULT ENOUGH to take care of it... and losing a passport is almost unforgivable. You need to contact the same place where your passport was issued and go from there.. you WON'T find this on some dumb web site.. you will have to contact the Passport Agency that issued your passport in the first place because THEY WILL HAVE THE FILE ON YOU.
