Is the Yahoo! UK mail server down?

Is yahoo.co.uk e mail server down today 13/1/2007?

I am located in Dubai.I can sign in ok and even get the usual preview box of my mail but when I click to open up my mail the page hangs briefly and then I get an error message saying ...show more

They've finally admitted to me they're having system-wide problems, which I suspect to be major server issues. And the problems are not just with Yahoo Beta; I and others not using it are having the same types of problems. Please see my earlier posting from 12 Jan. under the heading "Anyone having problems of any kind w/Yahoo Mail, PLEASE READ THIS" for more info. Since then, they've also sent another reply that they've "escalated" the problem to their engineering staff (which indicates major problems, not just a S/W "glitch") . I agree, they should be notifying ALL users that they're having system-wide problems!
