How much would I need for living expenses in London per month?
-
Hey, How much would I need for the living expenses in London, excluding the flat, electricty and tv license. Thanks
-
Answer:
Well, last year I took the plunge from Australia to the UK to live for 2 years. I lasted 9 months as I ran out of money. Rent: Around 100-150 pounds. Electricity around half that. TV license is not much. I would say you need at least another 100 pounds for groceries each week and another 100 pounds for your weekend activities. As long as you don't go silly, you should be able to live on that per week. Excluding the rent of course. Any more info, just ask. :-)

It depends on how hungry you get. £15/week should cover it if you're very careful and don't go out
