I am thinking about moving to london....can someone tell me if that is a good place to live, and if so, where?

Depends on what you are looking for. Close to the nightlife? something quiet? I was in the King's Cross area and I didn't like that too much because it seemed a little dodgy. It was also loud at night. Then I found a room to hire from a British family south of the river and I really enjoyed the quiet suburb. It was near the borough of Forest Hill and it was rather quiet but I heard from other Londoners that it could be "dodgy." I would recommend anything out of zones 1 and 2 on the tube map because it's a little cheaper, but keep in mind the cost of transportation. Hope this helps.

North London is a great place to live, but I wouldn't want to live South of the river or in the East or West. I've lived and worked all over London and I love it, but it's expensive, crowded and dirty as well as exciting, modern and culturally diverse. It's not for everyone, but you won't know unless you try it ;o)

London is a wicked place to live. the people are friendly, there's plenty to do even if you're on a budget and its got a great transport network.

For me I would say no way. London is a hell hole. For many immigrants then it is the place t go.

great place to live...even that is a big city with a lot of people uh can really enjoy living there if uhre a energic people or a "gentleman"...thats their habitate...if ure paceful person uh can buy a house near the city and have a more silent place to live...either ways london is the choice of elegant, styled, superior kind of people:)
