at entry level .net would be helpful not java , if u have experience of java then go for java i can tell u at entry level java has not much scope but with exp. java works amazing . . . java is always better than .net ... #ThankYouSachin

This is a never ending debate. Both are equally good and heavily paid. What is important is how much expertise you attain. The more you brush up your skills the more you earn. No language is superior to other it all depends on us how we master ourselves

It shall be Java. Its because firstly there are more number of opportunities of Java, than that of . And secondly .net is not much preferred in the industries these days because many other better open source options like Php are available. Besides you shall better go for new scripting languages like Python etc. This will help you more as more and more companies are using it
