How do I pack a suit, for a wedding, in carry on luggage for a flight without a garment bag?

I'm flying to Chicago from Orlando next Friday and I would prefer not to check any luggage. I need to pack a suit and don't have a bag for it and would much rather pack it in ...show more

Rolling is an excellent option--as soon as you get to your hotel/destination, take the suit out and hang it in the bathroom, turn on the bathtub/shower to the hottest setting and let the steam take out the wrinkles---no need to iron!!

Just check the garment bag. You're going to check a bag if you want to bring any toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc. anyway...

just put plastic over it and fold it gently in the overhead; and perhaps they will even hand it for you
