Where can i recycle cds in the uk?

I have a load of scratched and really old cds and dvds i want to recycle, is there any where i can send them in the UK? my local council wont take then and i dont really just want to ...show more

Doesn't music magpie take CDs and DVDs? I'm not sure what they do with them but I imagine they recycle them and you get money for them too. You could also make garden ornaments with them :D

I don't know about recycling but you could try giving them away on Ebay as I've seen people on the TV using old discs to make things out of!

There was a scheme that crushed old cd's into a powder and used them mixed with tarmac to strengthen running tracks in stadiums, I don't know if they still do it.
