Dry Eyes contacts problem?

Which contacts are usually better for dry eyes: Acuvue Advance or Acuvue Oasys?

My optometrist told me that she wouldn't prescribe me contacts because I suffered from dry eyes. I have also been told by seven other opticians that they wouldn't prescribe me them either as wearing contacts with dry eyes causes no end of damage to the corneas. I personally wouldn't bother as you only get one pair of eyes and you won't get the vision restored if you go blind.

Acuvue oasys is promoted to be better for dry eyes but it really is patient dependent. Proclears are the only contact lenses approved by the FDA for dry eye.
