Well what are you waiting for! Leave if you can afford to do so. Go get your feet wet and go home in the evening feeling like you've done something productive with you life. Never stay a t a job that makes you feel that way, not unless you can really help it. Go for it!

Take the temp job. I was in the same position as you. I stayed at my full time job and now regret it and wish I had taken the temp job b/c even though it was temp, it might have led to more positions that I would've actually enjoyed. If you are willing to take the paycut, then go for it. If money is an issue...then its up to you.
