When someone says you are not a good fit, that is pretty much being fired. I'd let it go and start fresh.

I leave off a couple of short-time jobs from my resume. Your 17 - it wouldn't look too odd to have no jobs on your resume and a job you only lasted a month at doesn't look very good.
