    Don't try to memorize anything. Let CVS teach you - that is why you are going there. Every pharmacy does things differently of course. The computers are going to have the drugs, the generic names, the limit one can take per day, etc. I would look at the Summary of Drugs and Schedules - this is very important. For example, Schedule 2 drugs cannot be faxed in. Sometimes, they can be refilled. Some pharmacies will only accept Schedule 2 drugs on the RX pads and not printed out. And some pharmacies have contracts with some doctors to call in Schedule 2 drugs. Try to keep up on what is changing - for example the daily dose of Tylenol If someone does not have insurance and the medication is expensive - refer them to the Partnership for Prescription Assistance Now here is a patient part ... For example, I can get zolpidem #90 from Express Scripts for $30.00, but at Sam's Club (and you do not need to be a member) I can get it for about $18.00.
