I am a PCT and their is No difference. I am a Phlebotomist, EKG Technician, Medical Office technician and work very closely with the doctor. I also interview my patients, give shots, apply holter monitors and collect test. I have medical terminology and A&P. I work at a cardiologist office and love my job! I went to school for 9 months. I see no difference at all. Here a PCT is very well respected as we have been through the exstensive traning and are only 3 months shy of a LPN.
