  there is no guarantee you will ever make any money as a writer/illustrator nursing is a very hard program to get INTO and get thru - 2 yrs minimum and NOT easy courses - but it does pay very well hardly anything that only takes a year to learn will pay very much if it even gets yuo a job you can get loans for school that don't have to be paid until after you graduate
