How exactly do you become an EMT?
-
I cannot seem to find any info on becoming an EMT? Is there a certain type of school to go to to become a certified EMT?
-
Answer:
Usually go to a near by hospital or something that has the EMT course you take. You have to get your CPR certification which is about 60 to 80 bucks.....Then the course which is like 3 months long and 5 days a week, it costs about 600 to 800 bucks in one total. Then if you pass you get EMT certified. You can then apply for EMT jobs within your area at hospitals or private agencies.... This is NJ's process
