Am I able to take architect?

What classes do you have to take in high school to be an architect?

  • It would also help if you could tell me what courses to take in college too. If you live in PA or are a current architect that would REALLY be helpful.

  • Answer:

If your school offers technical courses such as computer aided drafting or engineering then you can take those. You also need to take some higher math courses such as trigonometry and calculus. Larger schools may have more options, including architecture. When you go to college, you simply apply your existing skills and go from there. Take all your basics and then if your school offers architecture, then that's what you take. Otherwise, take as many courses that relate to your line of study and then transfer those credits to another school.
