What are some split screen PC games?

What are the best two (or more) player split screen PC games?

  • I'm looking for some interesting games to play with my wife while her gaming PC is being fixed. i.e. we've got just one machine for the time being. (However, if needed, we could have multiple mice/keyboards/etc such as used for Rag Doll Kung Fu, which should probably be on this list.)

Slime soccer and its various offshoots are pretty fun, despite the simplicity. (http://slimegames.eu/index.htm) BMTron is also pretty fun, and has a bit more depth then slime soccer. It's pretty simple too, but imo it provides better entertainment for four people than, say, Halo. (http://kryshen.net/games/bmtron.html) I've also had a lot of fun playing Slender with a friend, one person with the mouse and the other with the keyboard. Most FPSs are too fast-paced for a cooperative effort, but teaming up works pretty well for Slender. Especially if you're too scared to play by yourself.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/ is probably the most popular right now:It's a really fun game, though a bit difficult. It's best played with a controller, and I think controllers are actually required for split screen play.
