i'm thirteen, i go to bed around the same time, and i usually can't fall asleep until 11:30 either...here's what i did to help. 1. do not watch TV or go on the computer an hour b4 u go to bed (it tricks your mind into thinking that it is daytime and that it's cool to stay awake, so it won't send chemical signals to your brain to go to sleep) 2. read something relaxing and nice for 15-30 minutes b4 going to bed 3. spend time thinking about the really important stuff some other time beforehand. this way, when you're laying in bed, your mind's not troubled by something serious going on in your life 4. make sure you are comfortable (an obvious one, but still very important!) 5. try listening to soothing music, this is the most most most important one, a lifesaver for me!

its impossible to force sleep (unless with sleeping aids, which you don't want and I don't recommend). there are things that help though, try doing something that takes a lot of energy, such as working out or some other kind of physical activity; but be sure to get a cool down period before you go to bed otherwise you may be wound up even more.

Go to bed around 8 or 830pm and just lie there in the dark. If you usually dose off a hour and a half after going to bed at 10, try going to bed at 830 and you should be sleep by 10pm. It cuts out most of your day, but since it's already working for a later time, just try an earlier time. I only sleep around 3 hours a night and usually I'm not even tired the next day. This takes place everyday for me and I get a lot done, but I'm also 36 and I've had your problem since before your age. So I grew used to living without sleep. You could also try working out to get rid of that extra energy and try emptying your mind. I learned to do this with a candle. You stare at it and you make a mark every time you think of anything besides that flame. In about a year, you should be making just one or 2 marks per 30 minutes. Your young, so you have plenty of time to perfect it. Don't include a mark for thinking about making a mark if you think of something (that part is unavoidable).

not trying to be nasty but have u ever heard of masterbation? i still hav the problem always thinking about bull shyt b4 i go to sleep i usuall stay up for 2 to 3 hours u no? i need ta get sum sleep so i play wit myself... try it for real...or just take a hot or warm *** bath it relaxes u n dont do a lot of moving around like cleaning or washing laundry before bed.... another thing u cn do is count n the higher or lower u count to tell ur mind that its falling asleep yea................

Well, I'm 15 and I listen to classical music almost every night before I go to bed; this usually helps me. My favorite is probably Clair de Lune. It's very calming and quiet, and it always puts me to sleep. Another song is Fly by Ludovico Einaudi. You can also use background music from a movie too. Latika's Theme from Slumdog Millionaire also puts me to sleep.

your to young for sleeping pills, but I will say benedryl, but you sound stressed out or anxious. Try taking a really hot shower, or drink some "calming" tea's, I give them to my 6yr old twins. Good Luck!
