  • Answer:

    1. possibly, but partially depends on how the hiring manager thinks and whether or not the employer will roll the dice on you. 2. job titles are including but not limited to: HR rep, HR assistant, HR coordinator, payroll coordinator, benefits coordinator, recruiting assistant, recruiting coordinator etc... 3. If you don't want to interact with a lot of people, then HRM isn't the field. In fact, the whole business world kind of have a lot of position that may interact with at least a bunch of people on a daily basis because collaboration is something that happens in business. 4. maybe, but again, its up to the employer if they want to hire you for it. I've heard of a young tech company hiring a psychology major for a recruiting coordinator job because she graduated from a top university. She has no business education, zero related experience prior to that job, yet the employer hired her because the employer places more value on the "what university did you graduate from" status. Personally, I think you would serve your future better by doing a business degree from an AACSB accredited university. The psychology curriculum doesn't require business classes, so maybe the candidate might lack a better foundation for working in a business function like HR
