How to get rid of rough dry patches on hands?

When I get cold, my hands go a real blue colour with bright orange patches. What are they?

    that is exactly wat happens to me. i went to my gp (who by the way is pretty useless) and he told me if was nothing to worry about and to just put gloves on. but i really dont like it wen my hands go orange i get really embarrassed say like when im paying for stuff or shaking someones hand. if you do get a gud answer then hey let me no bout it lol xx

Do you have an abnormally high body temp? my brother and I do, he more so than I. When his hands are pretty cold, they turn bluish-purple, if you are hot to the touch all the time or always walk around in a short-sleeve shirt and find long shirts uncomfortably hot then it's normal.

no, i would not say that orange patches on your hands was normal weather they were cold or not. please see your doctor. let him know your symptoms. this may be very important for your health.

It does sound like Reynaud's syndrome, I have it. It's quite common so there's nothing to worry about, just wrap up warm! x

I am not sure, but I wonder about the possibility of an Allergy to coldness. This means you may have a form of hives. But don't quote me on this. My hands used to swell up in Minn. winter weather.
