  They should regard with the utmost respect, and you, as a sovereign person should insist they explain it so that you don't have to waste your time going down there. However, in the job world you are regarded as a serf, a slave, a peasant and someone worthy of the utmost contempt. How dare you ask any questions? This is why I don't like working for others, unless it's a really great job. All communications should be two-way, with you interviewing them, as well. But because it's also about power and control, they will try to block this or prevent you from asking.
