Pros and cons of a pharmaceutical career?

well if your job starts to depress you, you can medicate the hell out of yourself.

Although pharmaceuticals have their place in society, I have found I earn far more money in alternative medicine. Some of the side effects of meds are more detrimental than the health issue itself. More and more people are turning to natural cures which is quite evident in my sales.

Con: You're around sick people all day and bound to catch something. Also, Doctors already know what you're there to tell them so it's not like you have anything interesting to say. Pro: Once the training is over, this is the easiest job in the world. In regards to your dog, you're on your own and can make stops back at home to let him/her out to potty if your territory is close by. Some type of technology sales would be so much more fun. You don't have to sell to big egos and you're alway giving people information that they don't already have.
