At 15 , you do not need a cover letter. For a job at a cofee shop, you do not need a cover letter. Only provide a cover letter when asked specifically for it in the job recriutmrnty advertisement or if you need to explain something on your resume. most companies will just throw it in the trash.

Dude, your 15, you have little to no experience. Genrally, when trying to work retail; just go in and ask for an application and fill it out. No resume needed.
