Does clear nail polish sting if I put it on my mosquito bites?

I would NOT put nail polish on your mosquito bites... your skin absorbs everything it comes in contact with right into your body, and if you put it on a bite which is basically open skin, alllll those nasty chemicals from the nail polish will go right into your blood stream. Not a good thing. You can just tell by the way nail polish smells that it's not good stuff. Anything so fume-y has no business in your body. And it's PAINT, after all. Not even water-removable paint, you need nail polish remover, aka PAINT THINNER, to remove it... that's not something you want floating around in your blood. I would just take a long shower with antibacterial soap so all the germs steam out of the bites, and then put on aloe gel or some other kind of anti-itch lotion. And drink tons of water. Do not paint yourself!! :)

Not too much. But it will flake and peel off... not a great thing if it's on a visible spot. Try some cortisone cream or a little rubbing alcohol right on top of it.

it does if you have scratched it and took skin off but that doesnt really work for mosquito bites more chiggers umm i would suggest that you wash with a dial antibacterial soap that always works for me
