How to avoid infection from a burn?

I have a burn blister on my stomach that popped. Any advice on how to treat this to avoid infection or scars?

clean it daily...keep it covered...with gauze and tape not bandaids..you want it to be able to breath..you can put neo sporin on it or a and d ointment ..to keep things from sticking to it..if you have any silvadine cream use that but you wont be able to buy it as it is prescription only...these are things my daughter had to do when we took her to a burn center for second degree burns on her legs as they healed we switched to doing it at home and they told me when she was first burned the a and d was great....just dont use butter

antibiotic cream and a bandage. don't pick at it when it scabs over. that's the best you can do.

put vitamin e oil on it as this vitamin replenishes skin cells
