it could be scar tissue or a pustule sac left inside from the infection. It could be fluid. Is it life threatening? Probably not. Could it become so? Well, if it is pus, it could cause quite a few problems. Your ears are pretty close to your brain. I'd see an MD just to be safe. I wouldn't go to the ER... Just see him in his office.
