Where is a nice/cheap place to go camping in nj?

Where is a good remote place to go camping in northern New Jersey?

I would like to just pop a tent, make a fire and cook some food, and go fishing and relax for a weekend.. any ideas around northern NJ/eastern PA? Thanks!

I would say add another 2 hours to your drive and head to the Adirondack State park in NY do to once inside the park (Witch is HUGE ) you can camp anywhere you want for 2 weeks anything longer requires a $25 burning permit for your camp fire. There are allot of hiking trails up there remote lakes you can only get to by foot and so on.
