If you where my kid I'd be all for it. I bought my son a bike full gear and he rode once. He said he didn't like. Ok. Well it's not for every one. Some people are just anti motorcycle for some reason. Don't know why. It is what it is. I've been riding 31 yrs and don't plan stopping anytime soon. Heck even my wife has taken up dirt riding. It's a family sport. See if you can get your pops on one. That might change his mind. Might not. It's worth a try.
