    Your going to get back and forth answers, But I've had my PS3 80GB. for over two weeks and I wouldn't trade it for an XBox 360, ever! More of a selection on game for the Xbox 360 though. But over time PS3 will top the consols. + PS3 is coming out with a free downloadable virtual world where you can walk around and meet people, build a home and throw partys, even go to see trailers for up coming movies, it's all for free! PS3 is also free online. So in the end Xbox 360 users will turn over! Blu-Ray is for DVD Movies, Better sound, better picture. Best thing ever invented only on the PS3 not XBox 360.

It depends: If you have the cash, go for the PS3! ...If you don't then the Xbox. The PS3 Is well worth it; look on youtube for a video of 'PS3 Home!' (10 more games for the PS3 are due to be released by christmas, and you get the equivalent of Xbox live FREE on the PS3!)

Hmmm... I'd say go with the 360. The PS3's game library is scarce, most of it's AAA titles are also available on the XBox.

They are both essentially the same just different ways to cope with disc space. i have always leaned torward the x-box. technical problems? i won my x-box 360 on that pepsi thing, i got mine a week befor it came out and never had a problem yet. Its hard to say which one will be better, but it appears to me like the PS3 has a lil more potential. but'll i'll stick with the 360 till then/if.

I'd get the elite... I want one soooo bad I am willing to sell my body for one.

360 will be around a lot longer than PlayStation, who has dropped most of their game contracts and grasping at straws as to how they are going to stay in business. Read some news on PlayStation and how bad they're doing....besides that none of the old games work on PS3 whereas with 360 they will work if you have a hard drive.
