  Of course this is all a matter of opinion but I recommend the Xbox 360 over PS3... it's cheaper and consists of an objectively greater number of games. This is fact. PS3 can play things like Uncharted. That's basically it. Whatever their other games does 3rd party games and other console games does better, Infamous = Prototype/Spider-Man/Batman Game, Killzone/Resistance = Halo/Call of Duty, God of War = Devil May Cry/Ninja Gaiden, of course the 360 garners better versions of multiplatform games so when you think of it that way these games provide zero incentive on PS3's behalf. The only game that's creative from PS3 is Uncharted and even that games cover system was borrowed from Gears of War (it even said so in the credits "Gears of War inspired" or something to that degree lol). Xbox 360 boasts a greater library so there's bound to be more stuff you like. Xbox you get to look forward to Halo, once the industry leader in FPS. Gears of War which is a beast. Forza the most graphically intensive driving sim ever. More premium cars than GT5, stellar online play, and robust driving phyisics. Not to mention the car customizations adds expression. Moreover you get Fable, Alane Wake, DeathSmiles and others. But the best part. You get access to Xbox LIVE Arcade and the 2000+ Indie Games stored on XBOX LIVE, XBLA consists of oldschool Arcade cabinets, console games, PC titles and original IP (Trials HD, Battleblock Theater). On the Indie circuit you'll find games made by college students and people trying to make a name for themselves in the industry who are fighting for your dollar!
