Why doesn't the game I bought work on my PC?

Im trying to play a PC game. everytime i put it in the cd rom but doesnt work. new comp. and Cd?

  • it makes the sound as if its going to work.. but then doesnt...? its a brand new computer and CD. so idk what to do inorder to make it work. suggestions?
