You can change your PS3 hard drive by following the instructions in the manual for unscrewing and removing the place where the hard drive is. They have diagrom to follow, just two steps. You need a hard drive that is 2.5'' SATA and preferably an RPM higher than 5400 would be nice and fast. Any brand is fine, though Western Digital is usually slowest. Also maybe get one that is 250GB and they are about above the $64 mark.
