Everywhere is selling live for the 360 but not the original. Is original xbox live still working and how do I get online?

yes you can. Try xbox.com to purchase xbox live credit.

if you have an account already it will work on your old xBox. i don't think theres a difference between the two anyway. if you buy a new game for the old xBox with a trial in it you can set that up, then upgrade to the full version (it will prompt you to do this when the trial expires) =)
