Would you build oil/fuel refineries in mid west/ damns for electric an flood control l?

1) The president does not build refineries- private businesses do that. 2) Flood control often produces more flooding. Huge areas along rivers would have to be sacraficed to make the lakes that would form from dam building. 3) Military is run FOR big businesses- they are in the middle east for a reason; to protect the interests of big corporations. 4) Who are we going to nuke? Iraq had NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11! If we were going to nuke anyone, it should have been Saudi Arabia since most of the terrorists and training money came from them, but they are our "friend" since they sell us lots of oil. 5) Much of our "aid" is not given- it has to be repaid. I'd rather give it to them than have them move into my neighborhood and take it.
