You need to contact FB by logging into your FB account and using their online form. Once approved, your account will be permanently deleted with no option for recovery. The online form is here: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account

There is no way for you to permanently delete your info off Facebook. It's there forever, the only option you have is to deactivae your account.

i dont think you can. thats why there are a lot of pissed off people because of the privacy concerns that you mentioned. deactivating is the only option, which may make it harder, but not impossible for hackers.
